The vineyard is a family business, operated by Pam, Ian, Tim, and the two white dogs.
Although new to viticulture, Pam has taken on the role of Vigneron with great enthusiasm and panache.Her approach has been to look carefully at the best practices of Vignerons in the Hunter Valley and throughout Australia, resulting is a refreshed approach to weed and pest control, improved pruning and vine management practices, and the implementation of an enhanced water management program.
Ian Bell, the licensee, focuses on the commercial aspects of Stringybark as well as maintaining the property in a pristine condition.
Tim, when not at school, he spends his time helping out in the vineyard and on ground management activities.
